ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member will be to support with the dining service and assisting residents with their meals., As a Food and Beverage Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will play a vital role in supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals at Barnet Grange Care Home. Your responsibilities will include helping residents choose meal options, ensuring dining tables are set according to standard procedures, and maintaining a tidy dining area by managing crockery. You'll also ensure that homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods, and fresh fruits are available throughout the day, while being mindful of residents' dietary needs. Ideal candidates should demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene, compassion for resident care, and preferably have experience in similar settings such as restaurants or hotels. A basic Food Hygiene Certificate could be beneficial.
