The Glasshouse International Centre for Music is looking for an enthusiastic and inclusive music leader to lead its Folk Band as part of Make Music Adults
Folk Tutor, Make Music Adults
Deadline for applications: 12pm, Monday 29th June 2026
Reports to: Senior Programme Leader
Location: The Glasshouse International Centre for Music
Working hours: 1.5 hours per week, weekly sessions will take place on Thursdays 8-9.30pm, 10-week term time.
Salary: Scale Point 50 including planning and preparation ( £28.50 per hour including holiday pay / £48.42 per session)

Folk Band (Acoustic)
An opportunity to learn traditional and contemporary tunes and arrangement techniques in a relaxed group setting for mixed instruments and abilities above beginner level - a perfect way to get involved in folk music! Acoustic guitar, fiddle, mandolin, melodeon, accordion, flute and whistle all welcome.
We are looking for a leader to lead weekly sessions, help players grow in confidence and develop their skills and have an inclusive and supportive approach.
