The Inn Collection Group was officially established in 2013, though its story begins in 2006 with the opening of The Lindisfarne Inn on the beautiful Northumberland coast. Under the leadership of founder Keith Liddell, this single inn soon grew to include The Bamburgh Castle Inn in Seahouses, The Hog's Head Inn in Alnwick, and The King's Head Inn in Newton-under-Roseberry. These early expansions laid the foundation for what has become a multi-award-winning hospitality group, now led by CEO Sean Donkin. Today, The Inn Collection Group includes 32 unique inns across Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham, North Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, and North Wales. Since 2018, we have grown rapidly, acquiring stunning properties in some of the most breathtaking locations across the region. Originally based in Northumberland, our central support hub relocated to Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2022.
