Flow Room Controller

Grade: RCS N grade Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Any 5 from 7 rotational shift pattern: 07:00am - 15:00pm / 15:00pm - 23:00pm Location: Daventry, CV23 8BQ Think you know DHL? We are looking for a motivated Flow Room Controller to monitor and support warehouse automation systems, ensuring operational performance, system reliability, and the successful delivery of site KPIs in a fast-paced logistics environment. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Monitoring warehouse automation systems and control screens
• Monitoring alarms, resolving issues and escalating where appropriate
• Maintaining accurate shift logs and operational records
• Actively monitoring the status and performance of plant equipment and systems throughout the shift
• Working closely with automation support teams to ensure operational continuity
• Supporting the delivery of site KPIs, including financial and operational performance targets
• Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and supporting process enhancements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Experience within warehouse or supply chain operations
• Knowledge of JDA, Körber, or similar Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation platforms
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
• Experience with data retrieval, reporting and analysis
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure
