The Chancery Rosewood is redefining luxury in Mayfair, housed in the former U.S. Embassy and reimagined by Sir David Chipperfield. With 144 suites by Joseph Dirand and a collection of dynamic dining and bar spaces, it's a place where experiences are curated, conversations flow, and every detail matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest luxury hospitality standards.
- Manage and organise your assigned section during service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Complete mise en place to the required standards before each shift.
- Follow recipes, presentation guidelines, and portion controls consistently.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, HACCP compliance, and food safety.
- Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and report shortages where necessary.
- Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality during busy service periods.
- Support Demi Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs, and junior team members when required.
- Collaborate closely with Sous Chefs and the wider culinary team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative kitchen culture.
About You
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef de Partie within a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or similar environment.
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene, HACCP, and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for culinary excellence and continuous development.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A positive team player who thrives in a collaborative kitchen environment.
