Fleet Mid-Market Underwriter

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Mid-Market Underwriter to join Aviva's team in our Central London office. In this role, you\'ll work closely with a portfolio of brokers and customers, helping to develop and profitably grow both new and existing commercial business while delivering outstanding customer outcomes. • Take ownership of your portfolio, managing new business opportunities, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the broker market; engage with brokers regularly to strengthen partnerships and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior underwriters and leadership to deliver strong financial and trading results.
• Effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  
  Recent or previous Commercial Fleet underwriting experience with strong risk assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to build credibility with brokers and customers.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for profitable growth.
• Good understanding of FCA requirements and relevant regulatory and legislative frameworks.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders while delivering great customer outcomes and supporting team success.
  
  Salary: Circa £42,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
• Bonus opportunity - 6% of annual salary, contingent on performance and Aviva's results
