Full Job Description
At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for an Accountant to join the fast-moving R2R team. The role is part of the Record to Report (R2R) team within Finance Shared Service (FSS).
Role Responsibilities:
-Set up, implement and run new processes for posting and accounting for finance leases that are transacted through employee payroll.
-Implement robust controls into the process.
-Reconcile GL accounts at vehicle and employee level.
-Post any adjustments and reallocations required.
-Generate and post recharges.
-Manage, investigate and resolve any open items.
-Ensure that cost allocations are posted and reported correctly at a divisional and Group level.
-Work closely with payroll, fleet and Group Finance teams to ensure reporting and contractual requirements are met.
Accounting experience and qualifications essential.
-SAP ERP experience essential.
-High proficiency in Excel, confident with large data sets.
