Join us at SMT GB as a Fleet Administrator, where you'll play a vital role in our operations! This is your opportunity to ensure the smooth management and maintenance of our fleet. You'll be the go-to person for all fleet-related activities, keeping our vehicles in top shape and enhancing our service delivery. If you're passionate about organisation and efficiency, we want to hear from you! What you will be doing:
- To provide a high standard of administrative support and assistance to the Fleet Manager and wider QESH Team
- Administration of all reported driving offences and incidents
- Liaise with vehicle drivers and line managers, raising accident reports with insurers.
- Provide fleet related reports as requested
- To assist where necessary in the documentation around external FORS Audits
- Work in accordance with SMT GB standards of health, safety, quality and environmental care.
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience - Experience in fleet administration or similar role is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with extraordinary attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to manage data effectively.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal-allowing you to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
- A proactive approach with a problem-solving mindset. Desirable:
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Familiarity with fleet management software.
