We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and committed team at our outstanding school.

The successful candidate will be working with pupils who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties and will be responsible for proactive behaviour management. They will be class based, each class has a teacher and two full time teaching assistants. Opportunities may arise to work on a 1-1 basis with some pupils needing additional support.

The ethos of the school is based on care, responsibility and mutual respect. We use non-confrontational approaches to behaviour modification and develop the pro-social skills of the young people in our care. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.

We are strongly committed to extending our pupils\' horizons by engagement with outdoor learning, working with farm animals and extra-curricular activities and a range of school trips. Candidates with additional skills in these areas would be welcome to apply.

Closing Date is Wednesday 15th July 2026 at 12 o\'clock.

Interviews will be held week beginning 3rd August 2026.

If you have not heard from the school by Friday 17th July assume that you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.
