Fixed Term Cook FSA

Are you a passionate Cook who enjoys preparing great food and delivering excellent customer service? Do you enjoy working as part of a team in a busy catering environment? We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook / Food Service Assistant to join our catering team, working across various Transport for London (TFL) sites in the West London areaon a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with cooking and catering experience who takes pride in producing quality food, maintaining high standards and creating a positive experience for customers. KeyResponsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking breakfast, food to order and basic main meals as directed.
• Assisting with the preparation, presentation and service of food and beverages.
• Ensuring counters, salad bars and display areas are fully stocked, replenished and presented to a high standard.
• Providing friendly, professional and efficient customer service.
• Setting up and delivering food and beverages for client hospitality when required.
• Operating tills, handling payments and ensuring customers are charged correctly.
• Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness across kitchen, servery and front-of-house areas.
• Completing daily food safety checks, due diligence paperwork and wastage records.
• Following all food safety, health and safety and company procedures.
• Supporting colleagues across the catering operation to ensure services run smoothly.
  
  Previous experience working in a catering or food service environment.
• Confidence preparing and cooking a variety of food.
• A good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices.
• A positive, flexible and can-do attitude.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work across different TfL sites within the West London area.
