The Opportunity As a Fire Safety Subject Matter Expert (SME), you'll play a vital role in preparing Hinkley Point C for safe and successful operations. Working within the Commissioning and Operations programme, you'll help establish fire safety management arrangements, governance, and operational readiness activities that support one of the UK's most significant energy projects and EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain . You'll join us on a

frameworks, and operational fire safety documentation Interpreting and applying UK fire safety legislation, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and associated regulations Supporting or participating in World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) reviews and operational readiness activities Conducting Fire Risk Assessments and Fire Hazard Analyses within commissioning or operational environments Working with multiple stakeholders to implement fire prevention, compliance, and fire protection programmes Producing fire safety documentation and arrangements that support operational readiness and regulatory compliance To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting, which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years. What You'll Be Doing Developing fire safety governance arrangements and operational readiness strategies for the future station Leading Fire Risk Assessments and
