Fire Inspection Surveyor

The RoleWe are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Fire Inspection Services Surveyor to join our growing team. This field-based role involves carrying out fire door and fire compartmentation surveys, identifying compliance issues, and producing clear, accurate reports for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct fire door inspections and compartmentation surveys in line with current regulationsAssess buildings for fire safety compliance and identify risks or defectsProduce detailed reports, including photographic evidence and recommendationsLiaise with clients, contractors, and internal teamsEnsure all work is completed to high professional and safety standardsKeep up to date with industry legislation and best practices

Experience in fire door inspections and/or passive fire protection surveysStrong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and standardsRelevant qualifications (e.g. FDIS, FIRAS, or equivalent) preferredExcellent attention to detail and report writing skillsFull UK driving licenceAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyExperience using digital reporting toolsKnowledge of compartmentation systems and remedial actions
