Fire Alarm Service Engineer Location: This is a mobile position involving regular travel to customer sites across London and the South of England. - Customer Engagement: Acting as a key contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood, prioritised, and delivered to a high standard of service. Technical Delivery: Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and commissioning of Fire Alarm Systems in line with manufacturer guidance and relevant standards. Team Collaboration: Coordinating effectively with colleagues both in the field and remotely to achieve efficient outcomes for both customers and internal teams.
- Project Support: Assisting with smaller-scale works and projects, including conducting site surveys, supporting quotations, and completing installation and commissioning tasks. Out-of-Hours Support: Taking part in a shared on-call rota to provide assistance outside of standard working hours when necessary. Field-Based Work: Travelling across London and the South, organising your schedule to meet operational and customer requirements. Your defining qualities: Fire Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems is essential. Commercial Awareness: Ability to balance customer satisfaction with commercial considerations. Task Management: Capable of managing multiple service activities simultaneously, with strong prioritisation skills. Driving Requirement: Full UK driving licence is required.
- Additional Systems Experience: Familiarity with Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) and Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) systems would be advantageous.
