Now Hiring: Financial Reporting (FINREP) Manager West End, London | International Bank | Permanent | Up to £80,000 | Full-time office-based
An established international bank in London's West End is seeking a Financial Reporting (FINREP) Manager to join its finance function. This is a hands-on role with oversight responsibilities, offering strong exposure across financial and regulatory reporting.
The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial and management reporting, while supervising an Assistant Finance Manager and supporting broader finance initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:Preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements (UK GAAP / IFRS)Delivering insightful variance analysis and financial commentaryManaging corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and quarterly tax paymentsSupporting annual audits and preparing disclosure notesStrengthening internal controls and ensuring data integrityOverseeing day-to-day finance operations, including reconciliations and paymentsAssisting with FINREP regulatory reportingDriving process improvements and reporting efficienciesProviding cover for senior finance leadership when required
About YouQualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)3+ years' experience in financial servicesStrong technical knowledge (FRS 102, IFRS 9)Experience with tax (corporation tax & VAT)Exposure to regulatory reporting (FINREP)Advanced Excel and strong analytical skillsProven ability to manage and develop team membersHighly organised, proactive, and adaptable
