Full Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Advisor Assistant Manager to provide specialist accounting advice to clients across a range of areas, delivering high-quality reporting and supporting the firm's commercial objectives. Responsibilities

  • Deliver projects focused on technical accounting, including GAAP conversions, preparation of financial statements, merger and acquisition activity, implementation support for new standards, group restructurings, and training.
  • Manage projects independently or with team members, controlling timescales, budgets and risk-management procedures, and ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high client service.
  • Lead smaller assignments and take responsibility for all aspects of planning, completion and review.
  • Identify new opportunities, prepare scope, and provide quotes for small pieces of work.
  • Qualifications
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in large audit client portfolios and strong knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and, optionally, US GAAP and Companies Act.
  • Leadership and project-management experience, including coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Proven ability to build and develop client relationships.
