FINANCIAL OPERATIONS ANALYST / LONDON- BRIDGE/ HYBRID 1-2 DAYS PER WEEK / £27,800-£30,000 PLUS BENEFITSAbout the Team / RoleWEX Europe Limited, also part of the WEX Inc organisation provides outsourced services to both OFL and OFEL, to enable the execution of their business activities as outlined.Optal Financial Limited (OFL), a company registered in the UK and is authorised and regulated by the FCA as an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) and provide certain payment services. Optal Financial Europe Limited (OFEL) is a company registered in Ireland and is authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) as an EMI and provide certain payments services. OFL and OFEL are principal members of Mastercard and Visa. OFEL and OFEL's current core product/service is to issue as a regulated entity virtual account numbers or virtual cards (often called VANs or VCNs) which it provides to customers of its associated eNett business. OFL, OFEL, and eNett are part of the wider WEX Inc
organisation, a US business to business solution provider headquartered in Portland, Maine. The current underlying customer base of eNett and therefore OFL & OFEL are online travel agencies (OTAs) who use VANs and VCNs to facilitate effective and efficient payments to their underlying suppliers via the Mastercard or Visa Payment Schemes.Exciting new opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join a rapidly expanding, international organisation with ambitious plans for the future.WEX Travel prides itself on the ability of our people to deliver leading class outcomes. This requires people, who is agile minded to work across varying and broad areas, taking ownership of their work and seeing it through.We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Analyst to work closely with senior stakeholders and other internal and external parties to ensure all reconciliations are performed accurately and in a timely manner across all currencies and entities. This is a fundamental analyst role within the

issuer as a point of contact for finance-related queriesReconciliation of Mastercard settlement and interchange informationWork with key stakeholders to ensure any negative customer balances are highlighted, rectified and escalated in a timely mannerAnalyse, investigate and resolve historical difference within the reconciliation spreadsheetReview customer funding as appropriate, highlighting any variances that occurEvaluate and provide feedback on the existing processesExperience you'll bringDegree educated and potential further education in Finance, Accountancy, TreasuryAdvanced Excel SkillsA high level of attention to detailProactive hands-on approach with an excellent attention to detail to keen to make a differenceAbility to multi-task and product accurate and timely data to tight timelinesA self-starter with strong ambition to grow and developRelevant experience in reconciling financial dataExcellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to articulate
