The AFC team is accountable for protecting Deutsche Bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes, which is accomplished through assessing, controlling and mitigating risks.The Quality Control (QC) Specialist will primarily be responsible for supporting the Financial Crime Operations (FCO) QC Manager in implementing a sustainable QC process across the Bank's UK Transaction Monitoring department. regional key operating procedures, and any applicable global requirements. Ensure each QC review is completed timely and within quality expectations, including review conclusions that are clear, complete, and supported by the information in the file.Drive QC trend analysis and feedback reporting to senior management to improve the quality of AML alert and case investigations; serve as a key Subject Matter Expert resource for delivering effective feedback and guidance to AML investigators.Deputising the QC team lead for management duties and staff development, mentoring and supporting junior team members and driving QC framework improvements.Build strong stakeholder relationships across AFC including FCO and the independent AFC Quality Assurance (QA) team.Recognize, document, and assess key risks and escalate critical issues to the Quality Control team manager and Business Support Unit Head.Your skills and experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencePrevious experience
with AML quality control and knowledge of Anti-Financial Crime investigation standards preferredGood knowledge of financial regulatory requirements and AML risk implications and operational knowledge of AML Transaction Monitoring lifecycleUnderstanding one or more of the business areas of investment banking, corporate banking, and / or wealth managementStrong attention to detail and the ability to review work thoroughly and accurately coupled with proficiency in Microsoft OfficePrior experience with TM systems such as Oracle FCCM / Mantas or Actimize, will be a distinct advantageProven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputsHow we'll support youA culture of continuous learning to aid progressionWe value diversity and as an equal opportunities' employer, we make reasonable adjustments for those with a
