Financial Assessment Caseworker

Calderdale Council has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person to take up the role of a Care Charging Caseworker within our Financial Assessment and Charging Team which is part of our System and Finance service within Integrated Commissioning and Partnerships. The team supports the Adults and Children's Social Care directorates and is responsible for undertaking accurate means tested financial assessments, identifing potential entitlement to welfare benefits and providing information to people who receive care and support services on how these can be claimed.

We are seeking to recruit a professional, approachable, and customer-focused caseworker with experience in finance to support the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and maintaining a high-quality, customer-focused service.
