London, W3 (Acton) The Company Hire Intelligence is an award-winning, international technology and audio-visual rental company with more than 34 years of trading history. Operating across corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors, it rents IT and AV equipment - including phones, tablets, laptops, graphics workstations, servers, screens, touchscreens, LED walls, projectors, printers, PA systems, and VR and AR headsets - together with associated peripherals. The group is debt-free, with a clearly defined growth strategy, robust internal systems, and well-established business processes. The Role Reporting to the General Manager (UK & Ireland) and based in Acton, this leadership role carries responsibility for managing two members of staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for: - preparation of monthly financial accounts, forecasts, and management reports;
- payment of salaries;
- preparation of year-end accounts and reconciliations;
- production of annual budgets and key performance indicators;
- submission of tax and other statutory returns; and
managing, motivating, and maintaining clear communication with their team, department heads and the General Manager. Essential Skills and Experience Applicants must be able to demonstrate: - a chartered accountancy qualification with at least seven years' full-time post-qualification experience;
- previous experience in a financial accountancy role;
- strong computer literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail;
- excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- sound interpersonal, motivational, and presentation skills;
- a proven track record of teamwork and achievement;
- budget management experience;
- high ethical standards; and
no more than three employers in the preceding six years. Benefits - Salary: £65,000-£70,000, plus bonus
