This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic and busy Finance team, working closely with the Senior Finance Officer and the Finance Team to help deliver a high-quality financial service across the department.
We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual to provide support across departmental expenses, studentships, and the Accounts Receivable function. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering efficient transactional services while providing excellent customer service in accordance with the University's financial policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a finance environment, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. They will have a strong customer service focus and be confident using IT systems to support administrative and financial processes. The successful candidate will be able to process a high volume of financial transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage their own workload effectively.
Strong Microsoft Excel and financial systems skills are also essential for this role, while experience with Oracle R12 and SAP concur is desirable and would be an advantage.
