Full Job Description

The Finance team are responsible for oversight of all income and expenditure within the Council, supporting all departments to deliver value for money.

The Finance Officer will join the team and help to ensure accurate, timely financial administration and great customer service. The Finance Officer will carry out day-to-day finance responsibilities, including raising and registering of invoices, processing income, and, pursuing debt collection in line with policy. The Finance Officer will also manage the shared finance inbox, maintain accurate records, and respond to customer queries across multiple channels., We are supportive of flexible working arrangements where possible and encourage you to discuss this with us during the selection process. Employees are expected to work in the office for a minimum of 1 day per week.

If you have relevant experience, good communication skills, strong attention to detail and are able to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines we would love to hear from you. Salary: £26,403 - £28,142 Pay Award Pending
