Finance Manager

Take ownership of the month-end close and associated journals
Prepare and manage weekly and monthly profit and loss statements
Manage the sales ledger, invoice queries and credit control
Oversee inventory reconciliations and review stock-count results
Analyse financial performance and recommend process improvements
Manage two members of finance team, conduct regular reviews and training
Partner with operational teams to identify cost savings and operational efficiencies
Support strategic financial planning and wider business-improvement projects

Experienced in Management Accountant, Finance Manager
Ideally studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA
Previous experience of managing a team
Commercially aware, analytical and confident working with operational teams
Advanced Excel skills and experience using accounting or ERP systems
Organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of deadlines
Knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, PAYE and tax compliance

£38,000-£45,000 dependent on experience
