Finance Manager

Our central Shared Services team plays a vital role in supporting the success of every school within the Greenshaw Learning Trust. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager to join our Trust-wide team and contribute to our mission of delivering excellent, inclusive education. About the Role As a Finance Manager, you will provide expert oversightof the day-to-day operational delivery of our finance function. This is a key role in ensuring our schools can focus on teaching and learning, supported by strong and effective financial management. We are recruiting at two levels:

• Level 1- Focused on core operational delivery
• Level 2- Requiring advanced technical accounting expertise and risk management proficiency, Lead and manage a large finance team, including Senior Finance Officers, Finance Officers, and Finance Assistants
• Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts for schools and shared service departments
• Ensure robust financial controls across procurement, banking, and accounting processes
• Prepare and submit statutory returns, including VAT and DfE submissions
• Support team development through mentoring, coaching, and structured progression pathways
  
  Have experience in full-function accounting and audit management
• Hold (or be working towards) relevant qualifications:
• Level 1:AAT Level 4 (or equivalent)
• Level 2:CIMA, ACA, or equivalent
• Demonstrate strong collaboration skills and a commitment to excellent service delivery

  Salary:£44,685 - £50,085 (unqualified) | £50,085 - £54,267 (qualified)
