Finance Manager

You'll work closely with an innovative Managing Director and a supportive senior leadership team, playing a key role in shaping the financial future of the company. The role Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a hands-on and commercially focused Finance Manager position with real scope to grow. You will take ownership of the finance function in a standalone capacity, providing both financial control and strategic insight to support business decisions. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of management accounts
• Ownership of cashflow forecasting and budgeting
• Full responsibility for P&L and balance sheet
• Managing accounts to trial balance
• Producing month-end accounts
• Handling VAT returns
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Supporting wider business functions with financial insight and problem-solving
This is a highly visible role offering regular interaction with the board and the opportunity to evolve into a Financial Controller position as the business grows.


• Strong experience in bookkeeping to trial balance
• Proven ability to manage P&L and balance sheet
• Experience producing management accounts, budgets and cashflow forecasts
• Comfortable working in a standalone role with autonomy
• Knowledge of Xero
