All colleagues within the College contribute to the success of our students and we actively work to eliminate any barriers at work, ensuring you have the opportunity to thrive., Join our dynamic and friendly Finance team, where you'll play a vital role in supporting the Credit Controller and Income Administrators with invoicing, debt collection, instalment payments, refunds, and receipting. This position offers you the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of individuals, including students, customers, and college staff at all levels. Your proactive approach and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships will be essential to your success in this role.
As a Finance Income Assistant, you will be at the forefront of processing student & customer income as well as maintaining the debtors' accounts. You will be processing weekly invoicing, managing instalment payments, initiating debt recovery and liaising with our Debt Agency. In addition, you will be reconciling remittances and investigating discrepancies and processing refunds. So, a good command of Excel, attention to detail and excellent communication as well as great customer service are core skills for the post.
During 2027 we will be implementing new financial software, and you will be integral in supporting the Sales Ledger team with data migration, testing and identification of improvement process enhancements.
Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring the Finance department meets its statutory obligations and achieves its Internal Key Performance Indicators. Therefore, a background in Sales Ledger, Debt collection and experience of software migration will set you up for success in this rewarding position.
