Full Job Description
Providing Finance Business Partnering services to the Operational Business, developing good working relationships with budget holders and providing a finance presence within the relevant business area. This will include: 1. Building positive working relationships with budget holders and managers across the business. 2. Providing constructive financial support and helping stakeholders make informed decisions regarding expenditure, coding and financial processes. 3. Working collaboratively with colleagues across all Finance Business Partnering areas. 4. Supporting and attending budget holder meetings as required. 5. Preparing variance analysis and commentary to support monthly financial reporting. 6. Running monthly financial reports from SAP and exporting information into Excel and Word. 7. Supporting the preparation of zero-based budgets. 8. Preparing and posting month-end journals and accruals, including SAP uploads. 9. Running blocked and parked invoice reports in SAP and preparing associated accruals. 10. Analysing and reconciling balance sheet accounts within SAP ledgers. 11. Supporting internal and external audit activities by providing requested information and documentation. 12. Assisting with weekly payment runs, payroll audits, one-bill payments and balance sheet reconciliations as required. 13. Producing and distributing monthly TOTEX reports for budget holders and other stakeholders. 14. Supporting the preparation of forecasts and business plans for the relevant operational area. 15. Ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and supporting compliance with management accounting reporting requirements. 16. Communicating financial information clearly and effectively to colleagues and stakeholders with varying levels of financial knowledge. 17. Undertaking additional duties, where appropriate, to support the needs of the team and wider business.Who you'll work with Internal

A recognised accounting technician qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent). Essential Experience - Experience working within a finance environment. Essential Knowledge & Skills
- A commitment to delivering excellent service and supporting positive outcomes for customers and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain effective financial controls and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Working knowledge of SAP, particularly Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word, including experience using pivot tables and lookups.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across finance and operational teams.
- Ability to analyse, interpret and present financial information clearly.
- Confidence in engaging with stakeholders and supporting decision-making through financial insight.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues and contribute to team success.
