Are you a passionate, self-motivated and ambitious Finance professional looking to make an impact in a vibrant and thriving Multi-Academy Trust? About Star Central The role will be based across the West Midlands area, but you would be part of the Star Central team. The post holder will be required to travel between the designated academies or to any other reasonable location where the Trust is undertaking its business. The Star Central team includes experts from a range of professional backgrounds, who work together to provide an outstanding support service to the Star community. Who we're looking for We are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to provide financial leadership and management support across designated schools across the West Midlands area and support the Trust's Central Finance Team. You will lead the on financial operations, processes, reporting and planning in your designated areas. You will have:

  • Have a sound understanding of the budgeting & financial management processes, preferably in an educational establishment
  • Have a sound understanding of how purchase to pay process and procurement policies, can provide value for money, efficiency and control
  • Have experience of system & process development within a finance team
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of developing constructive relationships with non-financial stakeholders
