Finance Assistant - Middleton

JW Lees have an exciting opportunity to join the Finance Team as a Finance Assistant, based from our Greengate Brewery in Middleton, Manchester. Finance Assistant responsibilities:

• Bank Reconciliation
• BS Reconciliations including but not limited to
• MH Floats
• Bank Accounts (including Euro account)
• Deposits
• Sales Unpaid
• Money Undeclared
• Fruit Machine Refills
Checking and applying the correct coding and VAT treatment to Managed House expensesProcessing ad hoc bank paymentsRefund tracker Support with processing of purchase invoicesRaising weekly purchase orders for all Retail Operator sitesPosting Managed House PaperworkAttending Area meetingsInductions and support with site managers, including


• Excellent communication, both oral and written
• Intermediate excel skills
• Studying AAT or the desire to do so
• Relevant experience in an accounting environment
• Professional but personable approach
• Be able to work within a high-pressure environment
• Be able to devise solutions to issues as they arise
• Ability to think outside the box
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Always demonstrate a can-do attitude
