Full Job Description
- Raise Purchase Orders accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring correct coding and approvals
- Support sales ledger activities, including maintaining ledgers and resolving queries
- Support with customer recharges and sundry invoicing
- Support with claims and raise customer credits
- Provide administrative support to the wider finance team
- Respond to internal and external finance queries in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
- Support audit processes by preparing required documentation
Previous experience in a finance or accounts role desirable but not essential - Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using accounting systems(e.g. SAP,Dynamics) desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- AAT or willingness to study towards a professional qualification (desirable)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business Personal Attributes
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Proactive with a willingness to learn and develop
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach
- Reliable and able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate issues appropriately
