employee referral schemeCompany pension to support your futureEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP) wellbeing supportLife assurance at 2x annual salaryBlue Light Card access with discounts on retail, travel and leisureOngoing training and professional developmentFully funded apprenticeshipsClear development pathways and opportunities to progress within the organisationWhat the role involves:As a Finance Assistant, you'll support the Finance Manager with the day-to-day running of the finance function.This includes:Processing purchase invoices and ensuring they are approved in line with company proceduresResolving supplier invoice queries and maintaining positive supplier relationshipsPreparing supplier payment runsSetting up new supplier accounts and maintaining accurate recordsReconciling supplier statements and managing the purchase ledgerRaising sales invoices and supporting accurate customer billingUploading invoices to customer portals where requiredChasing outstanding payments and
maintaining accurate credit control recordsManaging the sales ledger and allocating customer receiptsSupporting monthly payroll administration, including starters, leavers and contractual changesProcessing statutory payments and employee expensesProcessing weekly petty cash top-ups and reconciling returnsMaintaining the fixed asset register and processing additions, disposals and depreciationCompleting month-end balance sheet reconciliationsMaintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end processesProviding general administrative support to the Finance team and assisting with ad hoc finance tasksWorking pattern:This is a full-time position based at our Central Office in Walsall.You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, including Operational Managers, HR and the wider Finance team, helping to ensure financial processes are completed accurately and on time.What we're looking for:We welcome applications from experienced Finance Assistants, Accounts Assistants or

individuals looking to build their career within finance.You may be a great fit if you have:Experience working within a finance or accounts environmentGood knowledge of purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control processesExperience using Sage or a similar finance system (desirable)Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesGood communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work both independently and as part of a teamA positive, proactive and flexible approach to workThe ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial informationYou'll need a minimum of GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.An AAT Level 2 qualification (or equivalent) and previous experience within a finance team, particularly within the social care or healthcare sector, would be advantageous but not essential.We welcome everyoneDignus Group
