We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn. Essential:
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent)
- Basic understanding of local government (or willingness to learn)
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Positive, flexible approach with a "can-do" attitude
- Ability to work well as part of a team and meet deadlines Desirable:
- Experience working in a finance environment
- Experience using financial systems
- Understanding of accounting processes
