Full Job Description
Millfield School is seeking a Finance Assistant to join our busy Fees team, playing an important role in supporting accounts receivable activities and delivering a high standard of service to parents and colleagues.,
- Assist with processing fee payments, invoices and refunds accurately and efficiently
- Monitor outstanding balances and support the timely collection of payments
- Maintain accurate records on finance systems and spreadsheets, including Excel
- Respond professionally to enquiries from parents via phone and email
- Support the team with termly billing, instalment plans and general finance administration
- Assist with debt monitoring and other routine finance and office duties as required
Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role - Strong numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Excel and financial systems
- Highly organised, able to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- A proactive team player who can also work effectively on their own initiative
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
This is an office-based, year-round role working 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. The salary is up to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with an excellent benefits package.
