You will support the Director of Finance in managing the Society's finances and service operations in line with the Society's governing documents, and to ensure compliance with legal and financial responsibilities. You will be responsible for efficiently and accurately recording and processing the Society's day-to-day transactions, performing accounting reconciliations, and administrating the income associated with the Society's services. We anticipate this will comprise approximately 20% of your workload, with the remaining 80% dedicated to finance duties.
You have practical experience working effectively within a finance function, using finance systems and software and proven strong numeracy, accuracy and data analysis skills. Ideally, you are somebody that has had some experience in finance and are now eager to further develop your skills within a finance role. You bring excellent IT skills, and you readily offer and accept help when needed. Your experience and excellent organisational skills mean you can switch between tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail. Plus, your approachable and adaptable nature allows you to make a positive contribution, even under pressure. You enjoy engaging with a diverse range of individuals, whether in person, over the telephone, or via email, always doing so with patience, kindness, and calm confidence.
