Full Job Description

You will support in managing the Purchase Ledger, support key financial processes, and assist with costings and logistics related to shipping. Your role will require close collaboration with various teams to ensure the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments, as well as general financial administration., Purchase Ledger Management:

  • Maintain and manage supplier accounts, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Reconcile and print supplier statements regularly.
  • Respond promptly to supplier emails and queries.
  • Financial Administration:
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly bank and supplier reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate filing and archiving of financial records.
  • Costing and Logistics:
  • Support costing for goods and services to ensure accurate cost allocation for products and services shipped.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics, including tracking shipments, liaising with suppliers and carriers, and managing financial aspects of shipping.

    Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, particularly with purchase ledger and reconciliation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Sage 50 experience is a strong advantage).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.

  • Permanent, Monday to Friday. However, the company is willing to explore the possibility of this being a Part Time role.
  • Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year (pro rata if part time)
