Full Job Description
On your Film and Image Placement, you will assist with and coordinate productions; helping to shoot and edit content, and:
- Assist the Film and Image team with planning resources, logistics and equipment for shoots.
- Provide support to the Film and Image team in technical areas such as camera, lighting and sound.
- Support to the Film and Image team to edit production content to meet production requirements.
- Upload content to the RNLI's Digital Asset Management system, ensuring it is GDPR compliant.
- Assist colleagues with day-to-day enquiries about the Digital Asset Management system and its content.
- Provide support to colleagues for audio and visual productions, e.g. hire cameras, recorders etc. You will be based out of the RNLI's support centre in Poole, but shoots could take place at lifeboat stations, lifeguard units and other locations around the UK and Ireland - or even overseas - so you should be willing to travel. It also means that some flexibility over working patterns is required, as shoots can be outside of standard office hours.
- Experience in film, photography and/or production.
- To be self-motivated and enjoy working with people.
- Excellent communication skills.
