Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Field Support Supervisor to join our friendly and supportive team at our Clacton on sea services. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about making a real difference to people's lives. You'll play a key role in supporting both the people we support and the colleagues who deliver outstanding care every day. As a Field Support Supervisor, you'll work closely with the management team to ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained across the service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and leading a team of care colleagues
  • Developing and implementing person-centred support plans
  • Conducting care needs assessments
  • Inducting, mentoring and supporting new team members
  • Completing supervisions, appraisals and competency assessments
  • Undertaking medication competencies and medication audits
  • Attending multi-disciplinary meetings and liaising with professionals
  • Completing reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the service alongside the management team
  • Regularly spending time with the people we support to ensure they are achieving their goals and living fulfilling lives
  • You may also be required to participate in the on-call rota, subject to the needs of the service.

    We're looking for someone with both the right experience and the right values. Ideally, you will have:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or care management role
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting individuals with:
  • + Autism + Learning disabilities + Complex mental health needs + Acquired brain injuries + Challenging behaviours + Traumatic backgrounds Most importantly, you'll be passionate about empowering people to live as independently as possible while helping colleagues develop and grow within their roles.
