Full Job Description

As a tutor, you will deliver engaging Geography, Biology, Environmental Science field trips alongside a wide range of outdoor education experiences for school groups, colleges, universities, families, and adult learners. Your role will include planning and delivering sessions, adapting activities to suit different learners, and making sure everything you do is safe and inclusive. You will also contribute to the development of new activities and work closely with a supportive education team to improve and grow what we offer. When you are not delivering in the field, you will support the wider running of a busy education centre. This is an active role, and some weeks can be busy and demanding, but it is also highly rewarding work. Follow this link to meet our Senior Tutor, Pippa.   • You'll have a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and some experience of teaching or tutoring.
  • You'll be confident planning sessions, preparing learning resources, and engaging a wide range of learners.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum, Geography, Biology or Environmental Science specifications would be advantageous.

  • Permanent full time contract - Weekly hours may vary, with more during busy periods and fewer in quieter weeks.
  • Starting salary is circa £28,470 per annum
