Field Service Engineer - Tower Cranes & Lifting Equipment
Join a Growing Specialist Engineering Team Mantis Cranes is looking for an experienced and motivated Field Service Engineer to support our expanding customer base across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to work with specialist lifting equipment, including pedestrian-operated self-erecting tower cranes and traditional tower cranes, delivering installation, maintenance and technical support services on customer sites nationwide.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing and dismantling tower cranes and lifting equipment.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
- Responding to breakdowns and supporting customers on-site.
- Completing service documentation and compliance records.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and professionally.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Plant Engineer or Crane Engineer.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working with plant equipment, lifting equipment, cranes or construction machinery.
- Ability to work at height.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience with tower cranes or self-erecting tower cranes.
- CPCS qualifications.
- Telehandler experience.
- Construction site-based engineering experience.
