Field Service Engineer (Mechanical)

Produce accurate and timely site reports following each job. Maintain company equipment including PPE, tools, and vehicle. Support and assist other engineers where required. Assist with training and mentoring of colleagues when required.You will work closely with management, maintaining clear communication around job schedules, site requirements, and overtime approvals.About YouYou will ideally have: A minimum of 3 years' experience in an engineering or field service environment Experience within the materials handling industry worked with lifts, pallets, conveyors, elevators. Mechanical experience with basic electrical Strong understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001 preferred) The

ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. A proactive, organised, and safety-focused approach. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.Qualifications & Certifications GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths & English (Grade C / 4 or above) NVQ or City and Guilds qualified UK Driving Licence IPAF, RTITB & CSCS (or willingness to obtain) First Aid trained Competent with Microsoft Office 365 ERP system experience (SAP preferred) DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)What's On Offer Up to £40,000 per year Company van, mobile phone & tablet 25 days holiday + bank holidays (with a Christmas shutdown) Depending on the job, could have to stay away.
