We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Shop Maintenance team at Greggs as a Shop Maintenance Engineer.,

  • If you would like to have an informal chat about this role, please contact Lesley Severn/Tom Whittaker, As Shop Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for:
  • Carrying out preventative, routine and emergency maintenance work on equipment in our shops
  • Ensuring all on-site mechanical and electrical equipment is working as effectively and efficiently as possible
  • Carrying out regular maintenance work, day-to-day repair of shop equipment, electrical repairs and modifications
  • Ensuring machine downtime is minimised whilst repairs are carried out for a group of approximately 80 shops

    You will fit right into this role if you can demonstrate:
  • 18th Edition Electrician Qualification (ideally)
  • Significant experience in installations, electrical repair, fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvements
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and carry out a varied workload in all trades, on both equipment and property
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is essential
  • Knowledge of Food Safety & SHE
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility in working hours (as may be required to work different shifts each week or asked to work overtime)
  • IT skills including Microsoft 365; SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
