Join Our Team as a Community Research Interviewer!
Are you ready to make a real difference in people's lives? As a Community Research Interviewer, you'll step out of the office and into the heart of your community, conducting vital research interviews on important topics like health, housing, and transport. Using a tablet or laptop, you'll guide conversations that capture the authentic experiences of daily life in Britain.
This isn't just another desk job. You'll be knocking on doors, engaging with people in their homes. While some may not answer or decline, every "yes" you receive is a chance to help create change that truly matters.
What You'll Do
- Conduct in-depth interviews in people's homes.
- Utilize technology to record and analyze responses.
- Engage with a diverse range of individuals and communities.
What You'll Earn
- Enjoy a competitive pay structure: £20-£30 per interview (typically)
- Admin fees and holiday pay (12.1%)
- Travel time at £4.68/hour for your work area
- Mileage reimbursement at 36p per mile (up to 10,000 miles)
- £250 bonus after your launch, with additional bonuses at two and four months
- Average hourly rate: £15.12 (including holiday pay), with experienced interviewers earning even more!
What You'll Need
- Valid UK driving licence and sole use of a car
- Class 1 Business insurance
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to complete a DBS check
- Reliable home broadband
- Laptop or tablet with a camera
- Comfortable using basic technology
- At least 18 hours available per week
- Flexibility for weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Strong verbal and written English skills
