Field Engineer

We are looking for a Field Engineer to provide support to our customers on a wide range of mobility equipment and stairlifts including mobility scooters, powered wheelchairs, riser armchairs, beds and wheelchairs. Most of the work takes place at customer's homes throughout East & West Sussex, Surrey and western parts of Kent.

You will need to be friendly and approachable person with a can do attitude who is able to show patience and empathy with our customers and communicate technical findings effectively. We aim to first time fix at each visit and you will need to be good problem solver to identify faulty components. You will need a basic understanding of DC electrical circuits and simple testing procedures. As well as fault finding, you will also be part of installation teams for stairlifts and ramping.,

• Good communication skills - written, listening and verbal - ability to deal with mainly elderly and disabled customers mainly on the telephone in an empathetic and patient manner
• Good problem solving skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Basic understanding of DC electrical circuits
• Full, clean valid UK driving license
• Clean DBS record
  
  Salary: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, staff discount and attendance bonus, Full product training will be provided through manufacturer approved courses and you will be provided with a competitive salary, paid overtime, company van, tablet, uniform and tools. The hours are Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.30pm (40 hrs per week) and you are paid door to door.
