We are currently seeking a Field Account Manager to join our client's team based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, managing their own diary, and building strong relationships with customers in a face-to-face environment. The Role In this field-based position, you will be responsible for managing customer relations of a portfolio of existing customers, while handling any disputes or complaints.,

  • Visiting both new and existing customers to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Handling customer queries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally
  • Negotiating contract terms to ensure continuity of business
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Planning and managing your own diary to maximise productivity
  • Visiting customers that are difficult to engage remotely, resolving complaints and strengthening relationships
  • Making confident, on-the-spot decisions to resolve challenges while protecting the company's commercial position

    To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Full UK driving license required
  • Previous experience in account management or a similar customer-facing role
  • Strong customer relationship and complaint resolution experience
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage a busy workload using a CRM system
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good geographical knowledge of Birmingham and surrounding areas
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and IT skills
