About the role

Join our friendly team at our

respite service in Newbury (RG19), supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs during short breaks - from weekends to longer stays. Every day is different, giving you the chance to make a real difference and help people feel valued, safe, and empowered.

The people we support enjoy:

- Zoo trips, community outings, and cinema visits

- Holidays and day trips

- Social activities and family time

Your role will include:

- Personal care and daily living support

- Medication administration

- Supporting complex health needs (including stoma care, PEG feeding, epilepsy - full training provided)

- Meal preparation and healthy routines

- Promoting independence, confidence, and choice

Shift Patterns

- 7:00am - 2:30pm

- 2:30pm - 10:00pm

- Sleep-in: 10:00pm - 7:00am (£50 paid per sleep-in)

Weekend work is essential.

We're looking for someone who is:

- Warm, approachable, and adaptable

- Happy to learn - no experience needed, full training provided

- A confident communicator and strong team player

- A manual driver with a full UK driving licence
