Great Yarmouth and around 25-30 minutes from Norwich by car.The people we support do not use words or formal communication methods, so you'll become skilled at understanding vocal sounds, body language, and non-verbal cues. This makes the role particularly rewarding, as you will build strong relationships and learn to recognise what matters most to each person.Day-to-day, you will provide full support with personal care, support with medication, and help maintain a warm, well-run home. You will also support with cooking and meal preparation, household tasks, and managing day-to-day appointments such as GP visits or home maintenance.Life here is active and social. The ladies enjoy swimming (you will need to feel confident in the water), shopping trips, meals out, bowling, walks in the town, and drives out for treats like ice cream. Supporting them to access these interests and enjoy new experiences is a big part of the role.You will work as part of a small, consistent team (typically two
staff on shift), with a strong focus on teamwork and continuity of support. Flexibility is important, as shifts include a 13.5 , across a two-week rolling rota.About youYou will be someone who is caring, observant, and patient, with a genuine passion for supporting others.
