Full Job Description
You'll be supporting two ladies in their 60s with learning disabilities, autism, and epilepsy (buccal medication required for one). They enjoy getting out and about - from shopping trips, pub meals, bowling, and drives, to quieter moments people-watching. They also love having fun, with a cheeky sense of humour (including games like hide and seek!).
Both ladies communicate non-verbally, so you'll build strong connections through consistency and understanding. You'll provide a mix of 1:1 and 2:1 support, including personal care, meal preparation, medication, and supporting healthy routines. There's a focus on encouraging activity, choice, and wellbeing, including reintroducing activities like swimming.
