Full Job Description
An Experienced Female Personal Care Assistant is required for an 11 hour waking night shift per week and 4 flexible weekend hours, to care for a 95-year -old lady who has advanced dementia.
Dementia care: 5 years (preferred)
Language:
English (preferred)
The care assistant must be flexible as the waking night will be on either a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night from 8 pm till 7 am. The 4 extra hours will be on a Saturday & Sunday to help with getting the lady up, personal care & dressed. The lady is a late riser so the shift times would be 11.30 am till 1.30 pm, these hours may not be every weekend and will be discussed at interview level.
The lady is not mobile and has a wheelchair for getting her around her home.
The rate of pay is £16.29 per hour.
It is essential that the PA has experience in the advanced stages of dementia care.
