Female Personal Assistant (care)

I have a small team of PAs funded by a Personal Health Budget (PHB) who support me across the week. I am currently looking for a PA to join the team for additional weekend support. Typical shifts are 8.15am - 2.15pm and 5.15pm - 6.45pm daily.

This position is for a regular number of contracted weekends per month (to be agreed) with the possibility of additional bank work and/or a future increase in contracted hours., My PAs support my independence in a number of ways. This includes enabling me to carry out my personal care needs, including showering and hair washing; assisting with household tasks, including preparing nutritious food and drinks, and helping me to maintain a tidy and organised home; attending appointments and supporting health management; enabling my engagement in meaningful activities, both in and out of the home.

Job description: I am a 44 year old woman with complex health needs arising from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). I have a positive outlook and drive for life, and I enjoy living independently in my lovely new home., I value people who can use their initiative and pay attention to detail. My needs can fluctuate, so the ability to be flexible and adapt according to the situation is vital. Being able to work both independently and as part of a team is important. Good communication skills, sensitivity and friendliness are also essential qualities in this role. It is a calm, welcoming and homely work environment with a friendly and supportive team., Being over the age of 25 and having a full, clean UK driving licence is essential in order to drive my WAV.
