Full Job Description
We are looking for a kind, patient and enthusiastic female Personal Assistant to support a young man with autism in accessing and enjoying his local community.
The role will involve providing social support, encouragement and companionship, helping him build confidence and stay active while taking part in activities he enjoys.
What the role will involve:
Supporting with accessing the local community
Accompanying him on shopping trips
Going for walks and encouraging an active lifestyle
Supporting him to take part in hobbies and activities
He has experienced periods of low mood and anxiety, so we are looking for someone who is understanding, calm and able to provide gentle encouragement without pressure.
