Full Job Description
We are looking for a kind, caring and reliable Personal Assistant (PA) to provide support to a lady with companionship and light household tasks. Previous experience, knowledge and awareness around mental health and autism.
The role is purely for social support no personal care is required.
In February - April 2027 one of the individuals current PAs will be going on maternity leave. From this date there will be potential for an increase of hours.
Roles and Responsibilities
The role will involve providing companionship and practical support to enable the individual to get out and about and access the local community. This will include accompanying them on outings such as going for coffee or going shopping.
The role will involve providing practical support with household tasks to help maintain a clean, tidy and comfortable home environment. This will include assisting with general cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning surfaces and keeping the main living areas organised.
Additionally you will be required to provide support around meal times. Support may include planning meals, preparing ingredients, cooking meals and ensuring the individual has eaten with appropriate prompts and encouragement where required.
